Dhaka, Oct 12 (bdnews24.com) – An investigation by the opposition BNP into the recent communal attacks in Ramu, Ukhia, Teknaf and Patia has found the government 'backed the attacks indirectly'.
A 67-page investigation report released at its headquarters in Naya Paltan here on Friday also blamed 'inaction of local administration during the attacks'.
The party has demanded formation of a judicial commission headed by a retired Chief Justice to probe the attacks 'immediately'.
